Well, today the 350th Go problem was released along with a new layout! And with music, too! Anyways, it was going to look more glassy and reflective, but it came out more like a smeared grey scale image, or an x-ray!

Music was added, and hopefully I'll be able to make the "Sound Off" button bake you a cookie and remember your choice. (As in if you had the music turned off and closed the problem, and then came back to it later, it'd still have the music off.)
Anyways, feel free to email me about the new layout, like if the text is too hard to read or something bothers you. Or just say "good job" or something, I don't mind.

It really is too bad though. Think about this, I started making one of these a day around January 2008, and I skipped so many that I'm not even at 365 over a year later!

Oh well, at least I didn't give up on this project!
Speaking of projects, I made some music for that platformer game I plan on making and I've been working pretty hard on the character's standing sprite, which would serve as a starting point for animating him jumping and running. I really should think of a name for the game though, but I know the character's name will be "Iven". I also know some game mechanics that I want to have, like being able to wall-jump (but only once. I think Iven will have a slight wall-cling time, too...) and use directional attacks in air and on land. And I've ironed out the plot and some sub-plots, I have level ideas, and some character designs planned out. The thing I like about this game is that I set up the plot so I can add levels without messing it up! And for anyone wondering why this isn't on the
Projects page... I haven't added this because it has no name, and, well, I'm too finicky to upload a banner saying "Project image coming soon", I'd rather wait until I have Iven drawn out first.
Anyway, enough of that. Enjoy the 350th problem! Only 50 days until 400, and 80 days until the halfway point of all these life and death problems! Then I need to make those compilations, which will not only have 50 of these problems in them, but extra ones of a different type! Like, compilation 1 will have problems 1 to 50 (which are all life and death), and 20 vital points, 20 tesuji, and 10 joseki problems added as a bonus. So I've actually got a
long way to go until I'm done making Go problems!

Ok, well, I'll aim to finish all life and death problems by 2011, and I'll try to finish all the compilations by 2013... hopefully....
